Getting to Snowbird

Snowbird is the most accessible world-renowned four season mountain resort in North America: only 29 miles from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC), with over 600 daily non-stop flights from most major U.S. cities.

Delta, United, American, Southwest and other carriers all offer service to Salt Lake. Please book your air travel arrangements directly with these carriers.

Ground Transportation from Salt Lake to Snowbird with Canyon Transportation.

CMX Travel has arranged a special fare on transfers to/from Salt Lake Airport.

$72 round trip per person (not including driver gratuity).

Airport shuttles may be arranged through Snowbird Central Reservations (800-453-3000) up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Cancellations received within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable.

Express round trip airport transfers from Salt Lake International Airport to Snowbird. Express hours from the airport are from 8 a.m. to Midnight for winter departing at least every 20-30 minutes. Summer hours remain the same with departure hourly. Return trips leave Snowbird 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. on the hour, based on reservations. Return trips should be reconfirmed with Canyon the day prior to departure.

General Information Canyon Transportation is located in the baggage claim area adjacent to the carousels. Return airport trips are scheduled for three hours on the hour before scheduled airline departure to allow for airport check-in and security screening.

Car Rental

By law, snow tires or chains are required on all vehicles entering the canyon from November 1st to May 1st. During heavy snowstorms, the canyon may be temporarily restricted to 4WD or chain-equipped vehicles only.
